McMinn County Schools and Offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Out of an abundance of caution, McMinn County Schools will remain closed on Friday, January 17. We appreciate the work the McMinn County Highway Department has done to clear the secondary roads. However, a number of roads still remain unsafe for busses and student drivers to travel on.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.

McMinn County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 13, due to remaining ice and snow on a number of roadways. Messages regarding extracurricular activities will be sent as needed.
MPP students at Niota enjoyed their STEM project All Things Snow! Students created snowflakes using toothpicks and marshmallows. They also made snow by mixing just two ingredients! Can you guess what they were? Our MPP kids were surprised. All the kids had a blast with this fun activity!
