November 11-15 is National School Psychology week. McMinn PREP students at Mountain View Elementary enjoyed doing STEM activities with apples this week. Thank you to Ingles for donating apples to our after-school program. They were a hit with students and staff!

WOW! What a great time for families at Engelwood Elementary School! Creature Features came and shared some of their animals with students, families, and faculty! Everyone had a great time meeting and learning about the animals!

During afterschool McMinn PREP families and students participated in a Family Engagement activity painting pumpkins and completing pumpkin investigations. Students and families enjoyed the fun Family Engagement event and had a blast with the hands on pumpkin investigation learning all about pumpkins! McMinn PREP afterschool students at Mountain View had a great visit with Etowah Utilities. Etowah Utility Board employees did a demonstration of what the electric department does to help us have power. Then students and staff enjoyed creating volcanoes in pumpkins. What a busy afternoon full of fun and hands on learning! Thank you to the Etowah Utility Department for helping us explore an interesting career!
