National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This is a special observance during the first week of March celebrates the national School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives kids a great start every day.

February 22nd! We celebrate our wonderful MCS BUS DRIVERS. MCS appreciates our bus drivers for their hard work and dedication to our students. They keep our students safe every day and we love their smiling faces! Thank you to our entire transportation Department for all you do for our students. Your dedication is AMAZING, and we love you!


The McMinn County Transportation Department would like to Recognize and say Thank You to Lisa Jackson. Lisa is a Special Needs Bus Driver for McMinn County Schools and has been with the Department for 24 years. Lisa is always smiling and keeps us all laughing in the office. Thank you, Lisa, for the care and love you give to the students of McMinn County!

Thank you for the last 9 years of service with McMinn County Schools. Regina has also helped the Transportation Department by driving summer school, after school, and many field trips. February 19th, MCS closed in observance of Presidents Day.


This is just a reminder that McMinn County Schools and Offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19, in observance of Presidents' Day. Schools will resume their normal schedule on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Have a great weekend.
