Calhoun's 8th Grade Class is hosting an 80's themed dance for the entire family on Saturday, January 25th from 6 - 9 pm. Tickets are $10 each. The public is invited to attend. All proceeds fund 8th grade's end-of-year trip. Tickets are on sale now! 8th graders will be set up during morning bus duty selling tickets. It will be a totally rad time! Don't miss it!

This week @ CES:
No School for students Monday. Lost & Found will be on display 9-2 for claiming. Check in through front office. Students return on regular schedule Tuesday. Good News Club will NOT meet in January. Please make plans to begin on February 5. Thursday will be grade card day and parent-teacher conferences 3:30-6:30. Please contact teachers for scheduling.

Several Calhoun 4-Hers traveled to Athens today to participate in the county public speaking contest. We are so very proud of their accomplishments! 7th Grader Anna Ricker was also honored for winning the county-wide poster contest!

Attention Kindergarten Families:
Tomorrow is kindergarten’s field trip to Athens Movie Palace!
*The bus will leave the school promptly at 8:30, so please make sure your child is at school on time.
*All students must ride the bus to the theater. You may sign your child out after the movie with his/her teacher.
*Adults attending will need to meet us at the theater by 9:00. Remember that if you are going, you must have your drivers license run through the Raptor system by calling the front office TODAY with the DL number.
