Due to the continued rise in cases of illness in our staff across the district, there will be no school in McMinn County on Thursday, Jan. 20. 11 and 12-month employees report if you are symptom-free and feel well enough to do so. Elementary Basketball games scheduled for Thursday have been postponed. All remaining tournament games will now be played on Saturday, Jan. 22 beginning at 9 a.m.

McMinn County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 18 due to ice and snow covered roads especially in the Northern area of the county. This closure also takes into consideration numerous cases of illness amongst staff members, most notably our high schools, bus drivers and cafeteria employees. 11 and 12-month employees report at 10 a.m. as long as it is safe to do so, and you are well. If you are unable to report in, you may work remotely. Thank you and have a safe evening.
