Bojangles McMinn Elementary Basketball Tournament
On Thursday, January 25th we will play these semi-final games at McMinn Central High School.
5:00 - Riceville vs Calhoun- girls
6:00 - Niota vs Rogers Creek- boys
7:00 - Mountain View vs Englewood- girls
8:00 - Mountain View vs Riceville- boys
The top two remaining seeds after Thursday will advance to sectionals and be seeded at sectionals based on seed in tournament.
In other words, if the #1 and #2 seed advance from semi-final games, they will be seeded the same at sectionals. If the #4 or #5 seed and the #2 seed advance from semi-final games then the #2 seed would advance to sectionals as the #1 seed from our area. We will also give the first place trophy to the highest remaining seed after Thursday and the 2nd place trophy to the next highest remaining seed.
If Thursday were to be canceled, then we will just advance our top two seeds from regular season in same order.

Contingency Plan for cancellations moving forward:
If Tuesday's games need to be canceled, then those games would be played on Thursday at McMinn Central. The 3rd place and championship games would not take place.
The top two remaining seeds after Thursday would then advance to sectionals and be seeded at sectionals based on the seed in the tournament. For example, if the #1 and #2 seed advance from semi-final games, they would be seeded the same at sectionals. If the #4 or #5 seed and the #2 seed advance from semi-final games, then the #2 seed would advance to sectionals as the #1 seed from our area.
If Tuesday and Thursday were to be canceled, then we will just advance our top two seeds from the regular season in the same order.
