Vacancy Announcement for
DIRECTOR OF SCHOOLS

The McMinn County Board of Education is now accepting applications for the position of DIRECTOR OF SCHOOLS due to the retirement of our existing Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A professional educator’s license

  • A master’s degree in education with a preference for a doctorate degree

  • Three (3) years of successful experience in school administration

Applicants interested in applying for the position of Director of Schools may:

  • Download and complete a hard copy of the application. A link to the hard copy application can be found at the bottom of this page as well. Hard copies of applications may be delivered in person or mailed to the McMinn Center for Educational Excellence.

The window for application submissions will be April 1-25, 2025. Applications can be submitted online or delivered to the McMinn Center for Educational Excellence (Central Office) between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. EST Monday-Friday or mailed to the following address:
